Our Business

AStar Homecare Services Limited is committed to ensuring that its staff and any workers it supplies (directly or indirectly) are not subject to behavior or threats that may amount to modern slavery, human trafficking, forced labour, and similar human rights abuses. We are dedicated to upholding ethical standards and complying with our disclosure obligations under the Modern Slavery Act 2015.

Our Policies

Our Modern Slavery Policy, along with our Social Responsibility, Anti-Bribery, and Whistle-blowing policies, reflect our commitment to acting ethically and with integrity in all our business relationships.

Our Processes for Managing Risk

In assessing the risk of modern slavery, we:

  • Identify and assess potential risk areas when considering new suppliers and regularly review existing supply chains.
  • Review the potential for risk at regular intervals, including supplier re-audits or spot checks.
  • Protect whistle-blowers.

While we have not identified any significant risks of modern slavery, forced labour, or human trafficking in our supply chain, we remain vigilant and proactive in addressing potential issues.

Training

To maintain awareness and understanding of modern slavery and human trafficking risks, our Modern Slavery Policy is included in our Employee Handbook. We conduct regular training sessions as part of our induction program to ensure all staff members are informed and equipped to identify and report any concerns.
